Video Mapping Interactivo con kinect y software personalizado – Kinectif

Una historia geek sobre un proyecto de 2011 que un año después se potenció con un software hecho a la medida con openFrameworks, para crear una instalación interactiva de video mapping utilizando el kinect.
Instrucciones:
- Descarga Kinectif. Al ejecutarlo pon la IP de tu iPad en el campo de texto que aparece en la interfaz.
- Descarga el template para TouchOSC e instálalo en tu iPad
- Al configurar TouchOSC asegúrate que el puerto de salida OSC sea el 12347 y el puerto de entrada el 8001 (muy importante).
- Conecta tu iPad y tu Mac a la misma red inalámbrica. Si todo va bien, en esta paso ya podrías activar y desactivar los diferentes cuadros con el iPad, intenta activar uno y asígnale un color
- Descarga Synapse y asegúrate de tener el Kinect conectado a la electricidad y al usb.
- Con esto tu ipad debería estar recibiendo los datos X,Y y Z desde Synapse y ya puedes asignar los objetivos con los pies, definiendo un cubo en el espacio mediante los botones de min y max (x, y, z).

Excelente trabajo, recien empiezo a leer sobre este asunto del mapping, y aunque tengo PC la corro bajo linux porque quiero hacer cosas asi usando SW Libre… Exitos pana! Desde Ecuador siguiendo tu trabajo!!

Instead for using two hands to drag for example a photo, cdluon’t it be done with one hand, like: first you point photo you want then you close your hand to make fist, like you were getting hold of normal photo or any object. Then you just drag and open your hand where you want to drop that photo.
You can do whatever you want I just did it like that to show the process

Hola amigo, muchas gracias por tu comentario, por favor platícame un poco de tu aplicación con kinect, me gustaría ayudar aunque la verdad es que no puedo involucrarme en todo lo que quisiera, es mas importante que me digas en qué frameworks estás trabajando que el IDE porque en xcode puedes hacer multiples tipos de proyectos. hi Luis i try your app kinectif but i’ve many problem to set right left foot with x y z axes . i don’t understand what is min e max and how to fix data in o/c. Itry many combinations of bottoms but I don’t have control to color palette. Can you help me please?

do you configure correctly the iPad? can you see the data from synapse on the touchosc template?
then you need to select a target, for example, select target 1, then you need to set the “imaginary space cube” that will trigger the target (color) on and off, to set a target you can use your left foot (x, y, z buttons on the left) or your right foot (x,y,z on the right) I recommend you to use only one foot to set the target (but you can use booth), take your left foot and then you will need to mark 6 points:
x min: left corner
x max: right corner
y: min: bottom corner
y max: top corner
z min: front corner
z max: back corner
if you set this points correctly, when your foot (left or right) enter this area will activate the target (color).

I TELL YOU WHAT I DO: I CHOOSE 1 TARGET I ACTIVATED ( AND I MAKE BLUE LIGHT I SEE BLUE LIGHT ON IMAC BECAUSE I ACTIVATED THE LINE WITH SMALL RECTANGLE. I PUT MY FOOT OVER THE BOX: RIGHT ANGLE PRESS X MIN LEFT PRESS X MAX DOWN THE BOX FRONT PRESS Y UP FRONT PRESS X MAX UP FW PRESS Z MIN UP BK PRESS Z MAX . FINISHED THIS I PRESS THE SQUARE. THEN MY FOOT IS OVER THE BOX AND THE LIGHT I TURN ON BEFORE (TARGET 1) IS ACTIVATED AND THE RECTANGLE IS SWITCH ON. I PUT DOW N FOOT AND LIGHT IS ON .
